What's new?

This version 2.2 features new Path Finder form and now supports Palm OS v.6.

Last version 2.1 introduced:

  • Color support, with Travelcard® zones
  • More detailed path informations. E.g. clockwise/anticlockwise for the Circle line
  • Clear differentiation of Northern line branches (Charing Cross and City)
  • Estimation of Journey time.

Next versions will feature places of interest, like in (i)Paris.

    BASIC OPERATIONS

    Main form overview

    How to select an Underground station?

    • Select type: starting point (From) or destination (To), with lower-left popup
    • Select any item (street, avenue, blvd name, etc.) which is part of the complete station name
    • Select the full station itself, check lines (i) if needed, and confirm
    • Main page now displays your selection.

                    

     

    How to find the shortest path between 2 stations?

    • First select both From and To locations, cf. above.
    • Select Path, with lower-left popup again
    • Select path Summary to popup details and estimated journey time.
       
    • To compute your fastest way back, just select Back
      with lower-left popup. It swaps From and To.

                    

     

    How to display Underground lines?

    • Select Underground Line with the upper-right popup (5)
    • The line is now cursor sensitive.

               

     

    How to pick a station from the map?

    • Select a Underground line to display, via upper-right pop-up
    • Pick a location along the line: a menu with closest stations pops up
    • Select the station or just click elsewhere to cancel selection

               

     

    How to set your preferences?

    • Click on the Prefs icon (sliders)
    • Select the TravelCard Zones (Underground fare zones) you want to see on the map
    • Same for the River Thames

               

    • Select your "Home" station. This will be your reference, selectable in one click in standard choice menus.

               

    • In color mode, all Travelcard zones are visible. River Thames display can be unselected

               

    NEW new Path Finder form

    In addition to the lower left pop-up selector, you can also use a dedicated form to select both from/to stations and start the fastest path computation.

    Just click on the title and select the third menu item:

               

    You can display line information with regard to from/both stations.
    You can click on BACK to find your way back too.

    SUPPORT

    (i)London is a shareware at $16.50.
